About The Position

The Supervisory Program/Project Manager provides leadership, oversight, and strategic direction for a portfolio of projects and programs while directly supervising project management personnel. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in alignment with organizational objectives. The position combines people leadership, program governance, stakeholder management, resource planning, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement to drive successful business outcomes. The Supervisory Program/Project Manager serves as the primary liaison between executive leadership, functional departments, customers, suppliers, and project teams to ensure priorities are aligned and program objectives are achieved. In addition, given the broad responsibilities to grow the AMS business, this position will have supervisory and development responsibility for our L6 and L7 PMOs to ensure they are supporting the overall AMS organization to achieve growth targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in business, program management, marketing or other related business discipline required
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience OR 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
  • Proven track record of leading cross functional teams
  • Experience in manufacturing, engineering, logistics or project management
  • An attached resume is required

Responsibilities

  • Analyze product positioning, drive for best product mix, managing risks and benefits to the overall company objectives
  • Execute appropriate strategies for long-term growth.
  • Responsible to report program implementation status to executive management with expected actionable plans for capture, including identification of challenges.
  • Prepare business proposals including feasibility studies and engineering estimates to support growth and expansion initiatives, including input from internal stakeholders regarding market intelligence, manufacturing inputs and commercial intelligence.
  • Provide regular accurate updates to stakeholders and executives.
  • Provide and monitor metrics, KPIs, and standards.
  • This role is responsible for the launch of product inside of the Reman facilities that a) do not sell through the DTNA organization b) transfer low volume new from a production location to a Reman location, c) product that is already sold through DTNA channels but is shifting production locations
  • Identifies and addresses project critical paths to mitigate risk of budgets, schedules, and capacities.
  • Provide support of web tools, product information through communications, webinars and onsite meetings in terms of content when required
  • Manage the Aftermarket Solutions (AMS) product pipeline to ensure projects are being launched on time
  • Ensure new ideas are quickly vetted and fast-tracked through the release process if they are deemed to be beneficial to the AMS organization
  • Lead activities of implementation and continuous improvement of PMO software and tools including RPPL and Asana.
  • Manage L6 engineering staff and interns to ensure they are properly supporting the overall AMS business objectives
  • Develop L6 engineering staff for potential promotion as opportunities arise
