Requirements
- Strong knowledge of the insurance brokerage market in Atlantic region.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the insurance industry.
- Strong knowledge of insurance products and brokerage distribution networks.
- Proven ability to identify business opportunities and contribute to market growth.
- Demonstrated success in building, developing and maintaining strong, long-term business relationships with brokers and industry partners.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, along with exceptional professionalism.
- Advanced bilingual proficiency in French and English (spoken and written) is required to build and maintain strong relationships with our broker partners across our territory, navigate complex insurance-related discussions, and support the growth objectives of Promutuel Insurance East-Coast.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in business development, broker distribution network development, or market development is considered an asset.
- Management experience in the insurance industry is considered an asset.
Responsibilities
- Maximize the client experience of brokers in the Atlantic region to ensure the achievement of each brokerage business plan.
- Support the Atlantic team in managing the broker portfolio to ensure profitable growth aligned with the company's business objectives.
- Collaborate with the team to analyze, accept, modify, or decline insurance submissions from brokers.
- Work closely with the team and other departments within the mutual society to develop innovative solutions.
- Manage and strengthen relationships with existing brokers.
- Represent Promutuel Insurance East-Coast at industry events and networking activities.
- Develop and maintain a strong network of contacts identify business opportunities through networking, market analysis, and the organization’s established reputation.
- Propose and contribute to the development of training programs to support brokers in their professional growth.
- Analyze brokerage performance results and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for growth and continuous improvement.
