Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Analytics
  • 2 years of experience in performing analytics on large, complex operational, financial, production, and supply chain datasets to identify actionable insights data modeling solutions.
  • Experience in Analyzing, manipulating, and/or processing large sets of data using statistical analysis software and BI tools (i.e: SQL Server and AzureSynapse).
  • Experience in Creating executive-level dashboards using visualization tools (PowerBI).
  • Experience in Writing SQL scripts and machine learning algorithms that enable data-driven insights and predictive analytics (i.e.: R-scripting and ETL).
  • Experience in Developing stored procedures and views required for dashboards in Microsoft SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio).
  • Experience in Utilizing dimensional modeling techniques to optimize data warehouse reporting and query performance for raw business datasets.
  • Ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver technical solutions to support business application reporting and business intelligence analytics.
  • Perform data analysis of large, complex operational, financial, production, and supply chain datasets to identify actionable insights and data modeling solutions.
  • Collect, analyze, manipulate, and/or process large sets of data using statistical analysis software and BI tools (i.e: SQL Server and Azure Synapse).
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines for processing and analyzing large volumes of data.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of documentation for data processes and workflows.
  • Write SQL scripts and machine learning algorithms that enable data-driven insights and predictive analytics to enhance decision-making processes and uncover valuable patterns within large datasets (i.e.: R-scripting and ETL).
  • Implement data integration solutions, including loading from varying sources and transformation (ETL), data profiling, validation, and cleansing to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Monitor and provide BI migration assistance through Azure portal functionality, creating technical documentation.
  • Perform data analysis required to troubleshoot data related issues and assist in the resolution of data issues.
  • Write unit/integration tests, contribute to engineering, and document work.
  • Develop stored procedures and views required for dashboards in Microsoft SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio).
  • Utilize dimensional modeling techniques to optimize data warehouse reporting and query performance for raw business datasets.
  • Create executive-level dashboards using PowerBI’s visualization tools.
  • Collaborate among various project teams to design and deliver technical solutions to support business application reporting and business intelligence analytics.
  • Participate in data platform and BI architecture design.
