About The Position

This role provides advanced data analytics, validation, and visualization support to Finance-led special projects. The focus is on transforming clinical, operational, and financial datasets into clear, actionable insights to support executive decision-making, strategic planning, and operational improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Health Informatics, Finance, Statistics, or a related field.
5–7 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within healthcare, public sector, or complex operational environments.
Advanced Excel including data manipulation, Power Query, and data modeling is required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work through complex and ambiguous datasets.
Ability to translate clinical and operational data into financial and strategic insights.
Strong communication skills with ability to present insights to non-technical and executive audiences.
High attention to detail and data integrity.
Oral communication and interpersonal skills, to provide technical advice and guidance to peers and liaise with all levels of internal and external stakeholders/contacts.
Written communication skills to prepare commentary on analyses develop and deliver presentations, training documents and procedural guidelines.
Works independently to structure analyses, validate data, and develop insights to support decision-making.
Exercises judgment in interpreting data, identifying risks and issues, and recommending solutions to support Finance and operational leadership.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Power BI or similar visualization tools is preferred.
Working knowledge of SQL is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

Extract, integrate, and structure complex clinical, operational, and financial datasets from multiple systems.
Lead data quality assessment, validation, and reconciliation to ensure reliable inputs for executive reporting.
Independently analyze data to identify trends, drivers, and opportunities related to cost, performance, and operational efficiency.
Develop dashboards and visual outputs (e.g., Power BI) and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
Support priority initiatives (e.g., cost savings, process optimization) through targeted data analysis.
Identify opportunities to automate, standardize, and improve data flows and reporting processes.
Partner with Finance, Laboratory Operations, and Digital & Data teams to define requirements and deliver insights aligned to organizational priorities.
