About The Position

Extracts knowledge and insights from high volume, high dimensional data in order to investigate complex business problems through a range of data preparation, modeling, analysis and/or visualization techniques to create solutions. Retrieves, analyzes and summarizes business, operations or customer data in order to develop business intelligence, optimize effectiveness and/or predict business outcomes. Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends or patterns and prepares ongoing reports and data visualizations in order to support business decisions. Typically uses dedicated business intelligence applications and/or cloud services (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau), but may also leverage the reporting capabilities of existing ERP, CRM and/or database software vendors (e.g., Oracle BI &/or Salesforce). This role requires working knowledge and experience in their job discipline and broadens capabilities. They continue to build knowledge of the company, processes and customers, and perform a range of assignments related to their job discipline. They use prescribed guidelines or policies in analyzing situations and receive a moderate level of guidance and direction, with consistent exercise of discretion and judgment.

Requirements

Associate's Degree and 2-4 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

Provides management and analysis of business data for use in decision making and organizational efficiency improvement initiatives.
Aggregates and performs statistical analysis on business data based on requests from project teams or senior leadership.
Integrates data from multiple data sources or functional areas, ensures data accuracy and integrity, and updates data as needed.
Writes queries or reports to provide data for various analytical projects.
Interprets data to identify business trends, conduct root cause analysis of business problems, or suggest areas for process improvement.
Provides guidance, coaching, and/or mentoring to less experienced team members.
