About The Position

The Business Data Analyst I transforms operational data into strategic insights to identify opportunities, improve performance, and reduce costs. The role collaborates with site leadership and key stakeholders to build reports, implement standard tools, and support data-driven decisions. It is suited to someone with foundational analytics experience who can own projects and develop into a trusted resource for data solutions. The role is based fully onsite if located at a warehouse.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, or four years of equivalent professional experience.
At least one year of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
Hands-on experience using SQL or another scripting language, such as Python or R, to query, clean, and transform data.
Proficiency in Power BI, including building dashboards and reports from scratch.
Experience writing DAX expressions to automate and enhance Power BI reports.
Ability to work fully onsite if the role is based out of a warehouse.

Nice To Haves

Strong understanding of statistical concepts and data modeling techniques.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Power BI reports to support operational and strategic decisions.
Develop Power BI solutions, including data visualizations and back-end data models.
Clean, model, and analyze data using SQL, DAX, and statistical techniques to uncover trends and drive improvements.
Collaborate with site and sector leadership to identify opportunities for efficiency and cost reduction.
Assist functional teams, including HR and Finance, with customized analytical solutions.
Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights through presentations and reports for internal and customer use.
Leverage data from operational systems such as Warehouse Management Systems and timekeeping systems.
Manage analytics projects independently from concept through delivery.
Serve as a point of contact for Power BI-related questions and support.
