About The Position

The Business Contracts Analyst role is a critical first-line position for customers and the sales team, requiring management of a variety of complex processes in a fast-paced environment. This role involves managing critical pre- and post-contract execution activities, leading the gathering and communication of business requirements to stakeholders, providing regular and ad hoc reports to the Business to support decision-making and compliance tracking, and ensuring the growing needs of WWPS's complex processes continue to be met. The analyst will contribute to existing go-to-market processes by ensuring contract workflows enable the sales team to move quickly and close deals. This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail and an ability to organize and maintain data in a systematic approach
  • Detail oriented with experience in researching and troubleshooting issues
  • Experience working with Public Sector customers
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through and meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear status updates and document processes
  • US Citizen

Responsibilities

  • Triage incoming requests from customers and sales, determining which can be resolved immediately and which require escalation or deeper investigation.
  • Follow established escalation paths for complex contract issues, seeking guidance from senior team members when encountering ambiguous or high-risk situations.
  • Respond to questions about compliance/contract requirements, signature processes, and filing procedures, providing clear, accurate guidance that enables teams to move forward while maintaining strict compliance standards.
  • Review agreements ready for routing, conducting thorough due diligence to verify all approvals have been obtained and that all contract data is correct and complete before working with senior leaders to execute and close deals through WWPS systems.
  • Build and maintain working relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, answering questions from Sales about contract status, coordinating with Legal on approval workflows, and supporting internal teams with compliance documentation.
  • Proactively communicate status and share learnings with team members to scale efficiencies across the team.
