About The Position

This role requires a detailed understanding of end-to-end semiconductor manufacturing — from silicon start through wafer fabrication, assembly/test, packaging, and integration into downstream applications — combined with the ability to drive process improvement initiatives in highly technical, capital-intensive environments. This individual will serve as a day-to-day advisor to client stakeholders, managing project teams to improve supply planning performance, operational resilience, and end-to-end supply chain visibility. The role requires both semiconductor domain knowledge and strong project leadership capability.

Requirements

  • Experience operating in a consultative capacity, including structuring complex and ambiguous problems, supporting executive workshops, managing day-to-day client stakeholders, and delivering client-ready recommendations.
  • Prior consulting experience, with experience at a Big 4 or Tier 1 IT services consulting firm preferred.
  • Hands-on experience in semiconductor supply planning within wafer fabrication and/or assembly, test, and packaging environments.
  • Working understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, including: Wafer fabrication flows and extended cycle times, Yield management and capacity constraints, Assembly/test operations and packaging dynamics, Integration into OEM and end-market applications.
  • Experience contributing to process improvements in constrained-capacity, long lead-time semiconductor environments with measurable operational or financial impact.
  • Strong executive communication skills with the ability to engage engineering, operations, and senior stakeholders credibly.
  • Experience with ERP and advanced planning systems supporting semiconductor ecosystems (e.g., SAP IBP/APO, Oracle, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, OMP, or similar).
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and concurrent workstreams.
  • Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Manage semiconductor supply chain process transformation workstreams from diagnostic through implementation.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for Director- and Manager-level stakeholders across operations, supply chain, and engineering functions.
  • Support and drive improvements across: Silicon start planning, Wafer fabrication flow and cycle time optimization, Assembly, test, and packaging operations, Capacity modeling and constrained supply allocation, Downstream product integration and customer fulfillment.
  • Design and implement supply planning processes in long cycle-time, yield-driven, and capacity-constrained environments.
  • Facilitate cross-functional workshops and support executive steering sessions, driving alignment across technical and business stakeholders.
  • Guide team members in developing actionable recommendations supported by data, scenario modeling, and financial impact analysis.
  • Assess and help optimize ERP and advanced planning system landscapes supporting semiconductor operations (e.g., SAP IBP/APO, Oracle, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, OMP, or similar).
  • Support business development, including contributing to proposals and building client relationships.
  • Coach and mentor consultants and analysts on engagement teams.
