We are seeking a highly collaborative and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our client's growing team. This role is ideal for someone who excels at gathering and translating business requirements, partnering with cross-functional teams, and ensuring solutions align with business goals.

Requirements

• Formal documentation (written and verbal) & requirements gathering experience
• Public speaking experience and be comfortable to speak to executives within the organization
• Experience in a position leading projects
• Extremely professional and a quick learner
• Pure agile experience will not be a fit for this role
• Bachelor's degree
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a strong focus on requirements gathering
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience translating business needs into clear, actionable documentation
• Comfortable facilitating discussions, asking the right questions, and driving alignment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in Agile or hybrid environments
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart, or similar
• Experience supporting business or data-driven initiatives

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand needs, objectives, and pain points
• Lead requirements-gathering activities including interviews, workshops, and working sessions
• Document clear, concise business and functional requirements (user stories, process flows, use cases, etc.)
• Serve as a liaison between business teams and technical teams to ensure shared understanding
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Product, Operations, Data, etc.) throughout the project lifecycle
• Validate requirements, support testing efforts, and ensure delivered solutions meet expectations
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency
