About The Position

The client is seeking a Business Central Analyst. The role focuses on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central development, customization, integrations, reporting, upgrades, and support.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
3+ years developing solutions in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
3+ years developing solutions in Dynamics NAV
Recent hands-on Business Central experience
Strong AL programming and extension development
Experience with Business Central SaaS
Business Central architecture, configuration and deployment
Experience with APIs / Web Services
Experience with REST APIs
Experience with API Pages/Queries
Experience with OData V4
Experience with OAuth 2.0 / Microsoft Entra ID
Experience with Git and Azure DevOps
Experience with SQL Server and database concepts
Experience with debugging, testing and performance optimization
Experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation
Business Central development using AL
Business Central development using Visual Studio Code
Business Central development using RDLC Reports
Business Central development using APIs / REST Services
Business Central development using SQL Server
Business Central development using Azure DevOps
Business Central development using Power Platform
Business Central development using Git
Business Central development using Microsoft 365 integrations

Responsibilities

Design, develop, customize and maintain Business Central applications and extensions
Develop extensions using modern extension architecture
Customize pages, reports, tables, codeunits, workflows and APIs
Integrate Business Central with Power Platform, Azure and Microsoft 365
Build REST APIs, web services and data integration solutions
Participate in the complete SDLC
Translate business requirements into technical solutions
Troubleshoot and optimize application performance
Support data migration and ERP/Dynamics upgrades
Develop RDLC and Word-layout reports
Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement
