As a Business Banking Portfolio Manager, you will support a portfolio of Business Banking relationships through underwriting, credit monitoring, and portfolio management activities. You will analyze financial information, evaluate loan opportunities, manage ongoing credit quality, and help deliver strong client outcomes while supporting relationship growth. This role provides the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio that includes commercial and industrial and commercial real estate lending.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of experience in Commercial Banking, Corporate Banking, Specialized Banking, SBA lending, and/or credit approval.
• Strong ability to analyze financial statements and evaluate credit risk.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to lawfully drive, if applicable.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with both commercial and industrial lending and commercial real estate lending.
• Experience preparing credit presentations, cash flow analysis, and portfolio risk assessments.
• Formal credit training, such as RMA training.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements and credit information to evaluate loan requests and recommend appropriate credit structures.
• Manage the end-to-end renewal process, partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of credit presentations and reviews.
• Complete annual credit reviews and ongoing portfolio monitoring to maintain portfolio quality and compliance standards.
• Monitor borrower performance and loan repayment activity, identifying and addressing potential credit concerns proactively.
• Present credit recommendations and participate in the loan approval process when appropriate.
• Partner with Relationship Managers, credit teams, and other internal business partners to support client needs and credit inquiries.
• Ensure portfolio administration and risk management activities are aligned with established credit policies, business strategies, and regulatory requirements.
• Represent the bank within the community by participating in business and professional organizations and supporting special projects as needed.
