Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Banker (LO) in Raleigh. In this role, you will manage and grow a portfolio of low to moderately complex business clients, typically with $500K to $2MM in annual sales. You will own the full client journey from onboarding to deepening relationships and acquiring new clients, delivering a branded, client-centric experience that drives growth and positions the bank as a trusted partner. You will develop a strong understanding of each client’s goals and financial needs by analyzing their operations and priorities, providing tailored financial recommendations that align with their objectives while staying compliant with policies and procedures. You will act as a trusted advisor by offering a full range of products and services including business accounts, credit, treasury services, and digital tools. You will actively prospect and network to build strong relationships with both external and internal partners to drive high-quality referrals and grow the small business customer base, collaborating with all internal banking channels to support business owners to gain the entire relationship. You will partner with Relationship Managers and Lending Officers for complex structures and ensure alignment with underwriting policies and risk guidelines. This LO position has customer contact and job duties which may include needs assessing and referring those customers interested in a dwelling secured product to a SAFE team member. This position includes assisting customers without taking an application and without offering or negotiating terms of a dwelling secured transaction. Individuals in a LO position also must meet the Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z (LO) outlined in the job expectations below.
