About The Position

The Business Associate (Finance & Operations) is responsible for the daily accounts payable, purchasing, and general school operations and compliance tasks. S/he will cultivate sharing and collaboration within the community and work to build a scalable and efficient finance/operational infrastructure, providing exceptional service and support to our school, ensuring their continued fiscal/operational success, and working to support the school’s mission and our high expectations for all.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, preferably in management or operations.

Responsibilities

  • Works with the business team to facilitate purchases while ensuring cost-savings, abiding by internal, state, and federal purchasing laws.
  • Reconcile credit/debit purchases and accounts receivable
  • Generate and distribute Purchase Orders
  • Input data into accounting and information systems
  • Work alongside our finance and operations team to drive annual priorities for the School
  • Manage Monday/resources for the school finance/ops team
  • Purchase school supplies/resources in compliance with fiscal procedures
  • Ensure the school is adequately stocked with supplies and resources
  • Obtain quotes for purchases
  • Support with coordination of logistics and execution of several schoolwide operations, such as food service, transportation, technology, facilities, events, etc.
  • Any other duties assigned by the supervisor
  • Ensures Food Service compliance and claims in accordance with the National School Lunch Reimbursement Program (NSLP) requirements
  • Support with fiscal compliance, grant compliance, and state/federal reporting.
