About The Position

Join Cisco’s Commerce Operations – Continuous Improvement team, a dynamic group responsible for integrating newly acquired companies into Cisco’s global ecosystem. As a Business Architect, you will spearhead the incubation, commercialization, and integration of acquired entities, acting as the critical bridge between innovative new businesses and Cisco’s established operational excellence. This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, where you will scale transformation capabilities while ensuring seamless integration into our commercial engine. We are a collaborative, high-visibility team based in North Carolina, thriving in a fast-paced environment that demands multi-functional partnership and frequent engagement with senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of professional experience in operations management within a technology or commerce environment.
  • Experience leading business process integration for acquisitions or large-scale, complex enterprise programs.
  • Experience with data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, SAP Business Objects) with the ability to extract, analyze, and leverage data for high-level decision-making.
  • Experience managing multiple, concurrent, high-priority projects in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end commercialization of newly acquired entities by conducting impact assessments, providing design input, establishing scalable support models, and defining the target operating model to ensure long-term commercial viability.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process simplification to reduce technical debt and ensure integration solutions are efficient and future-proof.
  • Lead integration of acquired companies into Cisco’s commerce ecosystem, managing multiple workstreams and aligning with global processes and strategic goals.
  • Analyze data and collaborate across functions to develop actionable, data-driven integration strategies.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders to support successful integration and scaling of new entities; regularly update senior leadership to ensure transparency and alignment.
  • Drive improvement by identifying gaps, proposing innovative solutions, and implementing best practices to optimize integration outcomes and stakeholder satisfaction.
