Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience in training and development, particularly in property management with a focus on Yardi.
  • Knowledge of real estate management processes and financial reporting requirements.
  • Deep understanding (5+ years) of Yardi – NY, RentCafe, Affordable module experience, NY Module DHCR.
  • Property management and/or Yardi Voyager experience required.
  • Strong understanding of additional Yardi modules (P2P, Budgeting, Commercial, etc.), and additional real estate technology applications.
  • Proficiency in navigating computers and community management software, including Microsoft Office, iLuvLeasing, On-Site, EliseAI, RentCafé and Yardi.
  • Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with software project management and implementation.
  • Work authorization (required).

Nice To Haves

  • Affordable housing certifications are preferred (i.e. LIHTC, HCCP, COS, CPO, C3P, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Yardi property management system, ensuring optimal performance and utilization, in collaboration with the Enterprise Application Manager.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the Yardi database structure, application integrations, and the YardiOne platform.
  • Provide ongoing application support for Yardi, addressing user issues and queries.
  • Contribute to end-user training and development through the Rose Learning Center to enhance Yardi proficiency.
  • Assist in the implementation of new Yardi modules to align with business needs and improve the renter experience.
  • Liaise with real estate application vendors to ensure seamless integration with the Yardi system.
  • Collaborate with various departments to identify and implement software changes that improve business processes.
  • Manage and optimize the Yardi property management system, minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth updates/upgrades.
  • Train and support team members to improve their proficiency in using Yardi, aiming for reduced user error, positive feedback, and decreased repetitive support needs.
  • Implement new Yardi modules or integrations, meeting project deadlines, staying within budget, and achieving desired outcomes.
  • Maintain positive vendor relationships and ensure seamless integration of Yardi with other real estate applications.
  • Continuously identify and implement improvements in Yardi-related business processes, leading to enhanced efficiency, cost savings, or user satisfaction.
  • Effectively address and resolve Yardi-related issues, measured by reduced recurring problems, quicker resolution times, and positive user feedback.
  • Stay informed about the latest property management software and technology developments and assess their applicability to enhance the Yardi system.
  • Perform duties outside normal responsibilities as needed and requested.
  • Be present on-site and able to move throughout buildings to address business application matters, utilizing exceptional communication skills with staff, vendors, and visitors.
