About The Position

Gertens Family of Businesses is seeking a Business Applications & Automation Developer to build and support applications, workflows, and reporting solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem, with a focus on Power Platform and Power BI. This is a hands-on role combining development, analytics, and IT support, ideal for someone who enjoys solving business problems with technology.

Requirements

Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience with Power Platform and/or Power BI
Basic understanding of data modeling and reporting
Familiarity with Microsoft 365
Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Nice To Haves

Experience with Dataverse, Canvas or Model-Driven apps
ERP experience (e.g., Eagle ERP)
Exposure to SQL, APIs, or data integrations

Responsibilities

Develop and support business applications and automation workflows (Power Apps, Power Automate)
Build dashboards, reports, and data models in Power BI
Write and optimize DAX calculations and Power Query transformations
Integrate data from multiple sources (Dataverse, SQL/MySQL, APIs)
Gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Troubleshoot application and reporting issues
Provide help desk support (software, hardware, POS, connectivity)
Assist with workstation setup, deployment, and asset management
Participate in on-call IT support rotation
