About The Position

Ibotta is seeking a Business Analytics Manager to join the Revenue Strategy & Operations team. This role is focused on driving actionable insights and processes that impact revenue outcomes. It goes beyond data reporting, requiring the individual to embed with revenue owners, identify key questions, and provide rapid answers to influence decision-making. A core aspect of this role involves working with AI natively, utilizing agents and LLM tooling as fundamental components for data exploration, building, and deployment. The ideal candidate will possess deep analytical expertise and a proven ability to integrate AI into their workflow, setting a standard for the organization. This position is located in Denver, Colorado, and is a hybrid role requiring three days per week in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Candidates must reside in the United States. A relocation bonus is offered for those not currently based in Denver.

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years in analytics, business intelligence, analytics engineering, or data science, with a demonstrated impact on business decisions.
  • Experience shipping meaningful work using LLMs, coding agents, or agentic workflows, with the ability to discuss successes, failures, and verification methods.
  • Advanced SQL skills, including complex modeling and semantic layer design, on modern data warehouses (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery).
  • Proven business acumen to understand revenue drivers and prioritize tasks by impact.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of bridging technical data discussions with executive recommendations.
  • Ability to operate with high autonomy in ambiguous situations.
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative, technical, or business field.
  • Experience building with modern visualization platforms (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI) and informed opinions on their application.

Responsibilities

  • Embed within the Revenue organization to understand decision-making processes and reframe vague requests into meaningful questions.
  • Build and deploy insight products, including analyses, models, and scalable visualizations, to the entire Revenue organization.
  • Utilize AI agents and LLM tooling to accelerate the cycle from question to answer and enhance individual productivity.
  • Act as a design partner for Ibotta’s core Data and Analytics teams, providing input on data models, metric definitions, and semantic layers.
  • Ensure the quality of AI-assisted output by validating results, identifying model limitations, and making reasoning transparent to stakeholders.
  • Develop internal methodologies, tools, and documentation to enable other Revenue team members to adopt AI-assisted workflows.
