As a Business Analytics Lead within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA Cleveland, OH or Denver, CO. The Office of the CTO is seeking a highly strategic and technically skilled Business Analytics Lead to drive data-informed decision-making, measure business outcomes, and accelerate the adoption of advanced analytics and AI capabilities across the organization. This role will serve as a trusted advisor to technology and business leaders by transforming complex data into actionable insights, building executive-level reporting, and ensuring technology investments and use cases deliver measurable business value and return on investment (ROI). The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen with expertise in analytics, data visualization, predictive modeling, and modern Microsoft technologies including Power BI, Power Apps, SharePoint, and AI-enabled reporting solutions.

Requirements

  • Experience in business analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or data analytics roles.
  • Advanced experience with Power BI and Tableau dashboard development and administration.
  • Experience developing executive-level reporting and presentations for senior leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, KPI development, and performance measurement frameworks.
  • Experience with predictive analytics, statistical modeling, and trend forecasting.
  • Hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience measuring business outcomes, user adoption, and ROI for technology initiatives and use cases.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
  • Experience partnering with executives to define KPIs, business value metrics, and performance measurement frameworks.
  • Experience designing enterprise data models, semantic layers, and governed reporting solutions.
  • Experience leading analytics modernization and BI transformation initiatives.
  • Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights and executive recommendations.
  • Experience leveraging AI-enabled analytics and automation solutions to improve business outcomes.
  • Customer Focused - Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
  • Managing Risk - Assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with their business objectives and activities to ensure they adhere to and support PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
  • Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 5+ years of industry-relevant experience.
  • Specific certifications are often required.
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the analytics processes across multiple functions or business units leveraging an array of complex analytical tools to create data driven solutions.
  • Serves as mentor to more junior employees.
  • Consults with clients and mentors consultants on tool and strategy implementation and monitoring, statistical scoring, business intelligence, data quality, and analytical product / solution development.
  • Determining the optimal analytic approach and supporting development, implementation and enhancements.
  • Assists peers with guidance on analytic approaches related to more complex solutions.
  • Conceptualizing, developing and continuously optimizing analytical solutions for business leadership to enable data driven decision making.
  • Analyze results and make recommendations for key business partners and senior management or communicate conclusions from complex analytical solutions to a wide range of audiences.
