About The Position

Hyster-Yale Materials Handling is seeking a Business Analytics Intern for a paid summer internship in Greenville, North Carolina. The intern will own a business project or initiative that supports company objectives and delivers measurable impact. After onboarding and role-specific training, the intern will work with mentorship and support from a manager, analysts, and other business professionals, and will present project accomplishments and business impact to company leaders at the end of the internship. The internship also includes a structured development program with networking, professional development, career coaching, business acumen sessions, site tours, volunteer activities, and intern events. Projects vary by team and are discussed during the interview process.

Requirements

Enrollment in a bachelor's or master's program focused on Business Administration, Business Analytics, Data Science & Analytics Management, Economics, or an equivalent program.
Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
Demonstrated proficiency in verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.
Advanced analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Ability and drive to learn and adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

Analyze processes, data, and operational challenges to identify improvement opportunities and contribute solutions.
