About The Position

We are looking for a Business Analytics & Demand Planning Manager for JBS that reports onsite to the corporate office in Greeley, Colorado. The Business Analytics & Demand Planning Manager will operate in a highly cross-functional team environment involving Marketing, Sales, Supply and Operation and provide reliable demand forecast using SAP Integrated Business Planning Process. Will manage and monitor statistical forecast model to deliver highly accurate predictions. In addition, as a quantitative expert, will perform market trend and quantitative ad hoc analysis for the Business Unit (Marketing & Sales).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Advanced Analytical Methods, Economics, Statistics, or a related field required.
  • 3+ years of CPG-related business analytics experience required.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Advanced Excel and statistical modeling skills required.
  • Strong understanding of sales models and experience working with sales data.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of programming languages preferred.
  • Experience with Nielsen, panel data, and trend analysis preferred.
  • Finance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a rolling SKU-level unit forecast and manage the overall forecasting process.
  • Create and maintain statistical forecasts at the SKU and predetermined aggregate levels by analyzing multiple model outputs to determine fit and needed adjustments.
  • Lead monthly demand consensus and forecast review meetings with Sales and Marketing; contribute to the consensus forecast and finalize demand output.
  • Support the strategic business unit’s financial performance by identifying potential supply chain issues and reporting on short-term volume pacing concerns.
  • Lead the Sales and Marketing portion of the annual budgeting process, including development of statistical and baseline models.
  • Communicate variances between forecasts, plans, and actual results to Sales and Marketing.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to analyze P&L performance and identify key levers for increasing profitability.
  • Analyze historical consumption data by category to identify patterns, trends, and business recommendations.
  • Conduct ad hoc quantitative and market analyses and provide actionable recommendations.
