About The Position

Zions Bancorporation is seeking a Business Analyst to join its dynamic and evolving Enterprise Wealth Management (EWM) team. EWM is a growing business line offering comprehensive financial services to affluent and high-net-worth individuals, families, and businesses. The Business Analyst will play a key role in driving efficiency improvements through automation tools like Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps, contributing to economies of scale and foundational operational processes. This role is crucial for integrating Wealth Data into the Bancorporation’s Data Warehouse and offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where input is valued and makes a real difference.

Requirements

  • Hands-on technical experience in creating Power BI dashboards, Power Automate, Power Apps, data integration, Dremio and SQL.
  • High level expertise with Microsoft Excel, including the use of macros, pivot tables, etc.
  • Requires a Bachelor's business, finance or a related field and 6-8+ years experience in business process analysis, gathering and documenting business requirements or other directly related experience.
  • A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
  • Working knowledge of data file integrations and data mapping and mining.
  • Experience in analysis of business process and workflow and/or process improvement recommendations.
  • Working knowledge of business processes analysis, business workflow and process improvement recommendations.
  • Knowledge of department specific processes, computer or systems applications or other knowledge skills or abilities may apply.
  • Ability to solve problems including multiple priorities and research conflicting and/or inaccurate data.
  • Solid analysis and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to work with both management and staff employees.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Drive efficiency improvements in the organization in Wealth Management’s operational, trading and administrator processes.
  • Produces, publishes, and distributes operational dashboards and reports relating to the development and performance of Wealth products and processes.
  • Represent Wealth Management in overseeing the integration of Wealth Data into the Bancorporation’s Data Warehouse.
  • Analyzes and interprets data to identify trends, patterns and opportunities for the Wealth business and its affluent clients.
  • Communicates analysis and interpretation to appropriate audience.
  • Reviews, analyzes and evaluates business processes, procedures and user needs.
  • Provides data analysis to support, compile and report key information for Wealth operations and business objectives.
  • Performs Wealth project management leadership functions as a project manager or team member.
  • Manages risk and develops dashboards to appropriately mitigate risk for reg 9 reviews, administrative reviews, trading and operational activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.
