DSV is seeking a Business Analyst to manage inventory, ensuring compliance with customer KPIs and controlling inventory for forecasted sales and scheduled distribution. This role involves monitoring and updating the master schedule to reflect inventory turnover, stocking decisions, forecasting, and administrative controls. The Business Analyst will be responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy between WMS and financial systems, identifying and troubleshooting failed transactions, charting reasons for inventory issues, and driving process or IT solutions to minimize reoccurrences. They will also direct actions to correct variances, work with local operations to resolve inaccuracies, and monitor/resolve issues with inbound and outbound orders. Managing returns, quarantine products, and ensuring physical inventory accuracy in conjunction with site leadership and the Quality Manager are also key responsibilities. The role requires providing daily Pareto Analysis to site leadership and meeting or exceeding customer expectations for inventory accuracy. Establishing strong relationships with Inventory owners across the customer network is essential. Additionally, the Business Analyst will manage aged inventory, produce actionable reports, analyze and coordinate the movement of aged materials, communicate with teams to verify order status, identify and drive actions to close open orders, and drive periodic purge requests by the client.
