Requirements

  • Technical knowledge: Solid understanding of ServiceNow data architecture, especially the CMDB, and core tables is often required.
  • Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and ITIL processes.
  • Soft skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder management skills are crucial.
  • Certifications: Certifications like ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Business Analyst are often preferred or required

Responsibilities

  • Requirement gathering and analysis: Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for ServiceNow projects, often through workshops and interviews with stakeholders.
  • Solution design and validation: Collaborate with architects and developers to ensure proposed solutions meet business needs and align with goals.
  • Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation, including user stories, process flows, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
  • Testing: Support and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate that the solution meets requirements and business needs.
  • Agile and project support: Participate in Agile ceremonies like backlog grooming and sprint planning to support delivery efforts.
  • Communication and stakeholder management: Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring smooth communication and alignment.
  • Process improvement: Identify and implement improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of ServiceNow configurations and processes.
  • Training and support: Develop training materials and system support documentation for project go-lives.
