About The Position

The Leidos team supporting the FAA Office of Budget and Programs (ABP-200) is seeking a Business Analyst to support operational planning, spend plan coordination, stakeholder engagement, process analysis, and reporting support activities. This role will support FAA financial operations by coordinating reporting inputs, assisting with forecasting methodologies, developing process documentation, and supporting training and operational improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and analytical skills, experience supporting operational and financial processes, and the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and organizations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Public Administration, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 4–6 years of relevant professional experience supporting business analysis, operational analysis, financial operations, or reporting support activities.
  • Must have experience supporting FAA, federal financial, or appropriations-related programs.
  • Familiarity with iPAB, iSAB, FIT, iHUB, or similar FAA operational/reporting tools.
  • Experience supporting spend plans, financial reporting, or staffing analytics.
  • Experience supporting training, outreach, or process improvement activities.
  • Experience supporting Power BI, dashboarding, or operational reporting environments.
  • Experience supporting Kaizen or Lean process improvement initiatives.
  • Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders and supporting cross-functional operational activities.
  • Experience developing process documentation, procedures, or user guides.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and coordinate spend plan submissions and reporting activities.
  • Gather, validate, and analyze financial and staffing inputs from FAA organizations.
  • Support forecasting methodologies and operational reporting improvements.
  • Coordinate with FAA workgroups, funding offices, and stakeholders.
  • Develop process documentation, user guides, and reporting procedures.
  • Support training, education, and guidance activities for FAA organizations.
  • Facilitate meetings, briefings, agendas, minutes, and technical documentation.
  • Develop and maintain user guides and processing guides for iPAB, iSAB, FIT, iHUB, and related ABP tools.
  • Document business processes, queries, calculated fields, and workflow procedures.
  • Support tool transition and knowledge transfer activities for FAA personnel and future developers.
  • Participate in Kaizen events and structured process improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate activities involving FAA hosting environments, system users, and operational stakeholders.
  • Support recurring and ad hoc reporting requests for FAA leadership.
