Role Overview : The New Business Analyst serves as a client-facing subject matter expert responsible for administering complex payment and billing activities, conducting audits, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of New Business payment processes. This role partners with internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex issues, drive process improvements, deliver client education, and enhance operational quality, compliance, and the overall client experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other related field preferred.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on Service Excellence when partnering with internal and external business partners.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, control procedures and audit standards, practices, and techniques.
  • Ability to multi-task and work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong computer skills including, but not limited to, MS Excel spreadsheet manipulation and MS Access data input.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for New Business payment administration, billing processes, audits, and regulatory requirements while managing complex payment setup and administration activities.
  • Lead the resolution of complex payment, billing, and audit issues by collaborating with internal and external partners to ensure accurate payment administration, regulatory compliance, and exceptional client experience.
  • Drive audit and quality initiatives by analyzing findings, identifying root causes, implementing corrective actions, and leveraging trend analysis to improve payment accuracy and reduce operational risk.
  • Champion process improvement efforts by partnering across business areas to identify opportunities, strengthen payment controls, enhance operational efficiency, and influence business decisions.
  • Develop team capability by leading training initiatives, mentoring colleagues, serving as the primary escalation point, and providing technical guidance on payment administration and compliance.
  • Communicate insights and recommendations by presenting audit results, operational trends, and process improvement opportunities to leadership while delivering timely, professional support to internal and external stakeholders.
