We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our Private Client team. This role is ideal for a candidate who thrives at the intersection of finance, technology, and business process improvement. The position combines day-to-day operational support with project-based work and requires close collaboration with business and technology stakeholders to drive efficiency, support regulatory compliance, and enhance the user experience. The successful candidate will leverage data analysis, business analysis, and stakeholder engagement to support the delivery of system, product, and process enhancements. This role also plays a key part in change management initiatives and in identifying opportunities to drive automation and continuous improvement. Developing a strong understanding of Private Client business operations will be essential, as you will act as a trusted partner and subject matter resource, translating business needs into practical, value-driven solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 2 years of Business Analyst experience within financial services (investment industry preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience in business analysis, including requirements gathering and process mapping
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice To Haves

  • experience with Power BI and/or SQL is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements to support system and process enhancements
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and increased operational efficiency
  • Collect, organize, and analyze data (primarily using Excel) to generate insights and support decision-making
  • Manage the intake, prioritization, and resolution of issues and enhancements through Jira or similar tools
  • Participate in end-to-end project delivery, including requirements gathering, user acceptance testing (UAT), implementation, and post-launch support
  • Act as a liaison between business and technology teams to ensure alignment and clarity on requirements and solutions
  • Support complex operational issues and escalations through impact analysis and coordinated resolution
  • Contribute to reporting, analytics, and audit/compliance activities
  • Provide ongoing operational support and troubleshooting while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of processes, requirements, and system changes
