About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong banking domain expertise and data/system migration experience to support large-scale transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring seamless migration of data, systems, and processes.

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Banking/Financial Services
Strong experience in data migration / system migration projects
Solid understanding of core banking systems, lending, payments, or deposits
Hands-on experience in data mapping, data analysis, and reconciliation
Experience with tools like SQL, Excel, JIRA, Visio
Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Agile/Waterfall)
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Nice To Haves

Experience with core banking platforms (e.g., FLEXCUBE, Loan IQ, etc.)
Prior experience working with US banking clients
Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks in banking
Exposure to ETL tools or data warehousing concepts

Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements (BRD, FRD) for banking systems
Perform current state vs. future state analysis for migration initiatives
Work closely with stakeholders (business, IT, operations) to define migration scope and strategy
Analyze legacy systems, data structures, and define data mapping & transformation rules
Support end-to-end data migration lifecycle including planning, execution, validation, and reconciliation
Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and ensure data quality during migration
Collaborate with development teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
Prepare test cases, support UAT, and ensure successful migration sign-offs
Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and status reporting
Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal controls
