The Business Analyst will support the development and delivery of technical projects that improve the use of public health data to inform decision making. This role is aligned to the Workforce Acceleration Initiative (WAI). WAI is a federally funded CDC Foundation program with the goal of helping the nation’s public health agencies by providing them with the technology and data experts they need to accelerate their information system improvements. Working within New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Public Health, the Business Analyst will serve as the primary liaison between public health programs and technical vendors for the DHHS Data Portal and EBI 2.0 initiatives. Responsibilities include eliciting and documenting business and functional requirements, facilitating technical discussions, and ensuring deliverables align with program objectives. The Business Analyst will lead quality assurance efforts by developing test cases, conducting user acceptance testing, and monitoring vendor performance. Additional duties include backlog management, identifying and resolving project gaps, troubleshooting system issues, and supporting integration of public health data systems into the EBI platform. The Business Analyst will collaborate with technical and non‑technical teams to validate requirements, ensure accurate developer interpretation, support user training and change management, and drive alignment throughout system planning and implementation. The Business Analyst will be hired by the CDC Foundation and assigned to the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Public Health. This position is eligible for a fully remote work arrangement for U.S. based candidates.
