About The Position

This role requires a Business Analyst with experience in MMIS Legacy system projects, Medicaid claims, provider operations, and eligibility/enrollment systems. The analyst will be responsible for understanding system capabilities and intricacies, and working with Medicaid operations concepts. The position requires proficiency in various software tools and the ability to work independently with personal equipment, as company-provided equipment will not be supplied. Access to a virtual desktop will be provided by the client.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or healthcare field.
• 4+ years of experience in business/systems analysis and/or computer systems development/modification may be substituted for degree.
• 1+ years of experience supporting MMIS Legacy system projects as a Business Analyst or performing related duties (understanding capabilities and intricacies of MMIS).
• 1+ years of experience working with Medicaid claims and provider operations concepts.
• 1+ years of experience working with a Medicaid eligibility and/or enrollment information system in an operations capacity.
• Proficient in Office Suite, Jira, Footprints, and SharePoint.

Nice To Haves

• Subject Matter Expertise related to MMIS Operations.
• Proficient in data analysis tools and techniques such as SAS, Excel, data visualization tools, and statistical analysis software.
