Hi, we're the Mid-Ohio Food Collective. Yes, we’re a foodbank and collect and distribute an impressive amount of food, but that’s not all. We’re also a group of passionate individuals dedicated to exploring new ideas to tackle tough social issues from food insecurity to poverty to health as a whole. Role Summary As a Business Analyst, you’ll translate stakeholder needs into clear, actionable requirements that help teams deliver reliable, customer-focused solutions. You will support projects end-to-end by facilitating communication, defining scope, and improving how work moves from idea to delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems or other related field OR equivalent on-the-job training.
• 1+ year relevant experience in a technical environment.
• Experience conducting queries using SQL, Python or similar data analysis and modeling tools.
• Experience with process mapping tools such as Visio, Lucidchart or equivalent.
• Experience using AI tools for data analysis, modeling, documentation, and reporting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; collaborative and proactive in cross-functional team environments; problem solver with a solutions-oriented mindset; high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Leading stakeholder interviews, workshops, and working sessions to elicit and validate requirements
• Documenting business processes, workflows, and user stories; maintain traceability
• Managing JIRA backlogs, sprint artifacts, and continuous-improvement ceremonies
• Analyzing structured and unstructured data (SQL/Python or similar) to inform priorities and reporting
• Utilizing AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to accelerate documentation, analysis, and decision support
