About The Position

AltaMed is seeking a Business Analyst to provide process documentation and analytical support for discrete projects. This role involves developing and managing project-based deliverables such as process mapping, gathering business requirements, collecting and reporting operational metrics, and conducting project financial and operational analysis/reporting. The Analyst will also support peers and management in interpreting performance data and formulating recommendations for business solutions. This individual will be part of a team dedicated to supporting enterprise business software applications and infrastructure projects. AltaMed is the nation's largest Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), committed to providing affordable, high-quality health care to underserved communities in Los Angeles and Orange Counties, serving over 400,000 patients.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business, health care, statistics, organizational management, or a related field required

Nice To Haves

1 to 3 years of experience in business analysis, project coordination activities, and designing end-to-end business processes in an outpatient clinic setting and/or enterprise support department is strongly preferred
Understanding of process improvement methodology (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, or TQM) preferred

Responsibilities
