About The Position

The Business Analyst will gather, review and interpret data across various functions within the company. The Business Analyst is responsible for financial planning and analysis (FP&A), analyzing and modeling business processes, developing insights, and communicating improvement opportunities to senior management. The Business Analyst will also assist in the evaluation of new initiatives (programs, locations, acquisitions). The Business Analyst will be assigned specific operational improvement projects and is expected to deliver results that will make the organization more effective.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required in a related field such as Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Marketing, or a similar discipline
  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience in business analysis, financial analysis, operations, reporting, or related fields
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret operational and financial information and provide actionable recommendations
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Sheets
  • Experience working with business systems and reporting tools; ability to organize and analyze data from multiple sources
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present information clearly to various stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • CampusVue experience strongly preferred
  • Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Perform thoughtful financial and operational analysis and work closely with management to prioritize initiatives and improve business performance and organizational effectiveness.
  • Support reporting and analytical needs across various departments, including Finance, Marketing, Financial Aid/Student Accounts, Human Resources/Payroll, Academics, and Compliance.
  • Partner with departmental leaders to evaluate workflows, monitor operational effectiveness, identify improvement opportunities, and support strategic decision-making.
  • Analyze operational and financial trends using data from multiple systems and translate findings into clear, actionable insights for leadership.
  • Assist in developing and implementing business process improvements by studying operational functions, evaluating outcomes, and recommending practical solutions.
  • Support key institutional initiatives through financial modeling, forecasting, scenario analysis, KPI tracking, and ROI assessments.
  • Prepare management reports, summaries, and presentations to support executive decision-making.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
