About The Position

This position is responsible for analyzing business performance to support/develop or test the strategic initiatives of customer management, product/business development, productivity optimization, and sales. They must possess excellent interpersonal skills and work well under tight time constraints.

Responsibilities

  • Compiles information necessary to review and report on performance of the division or customers using the Data Warehouse, Operating Systems, External Resources and/or other Resources as required.
  • Uses database programs spreadsheets, and other statistical and presentation software to analyze acquired information evaluating the performance of customers, developing pricing strategies, establishing performance patterns, determining rebate eligibility and examining base business performance (Sales, GP$, ROI, etc.). Some of these analysis may be periodic in nature (e.g., weekly, monthly, quarterly) and others may be ad hoc. Develops reports and presentations to communicate results and recommends business tactics and strategies based on findings.
  • Creates, maintains, and updates Sales Plans/Contracts, and Customer Profiles as necessary. Troubleshoots issues, brings discrepancies to upper management’s attention and prepares documentation related to specific issues.
  • Prepares and maintains updated documentation on department procedures.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.
