About The Position

At our partner institution at Tiffin University, Dynamic Campus is seeking an individual with hands-on experience working in one or more higher education offices, such as admissions, financial aid, HR, advancement, etc. Having held a “Power User” type position is a plus. The Business Analyst works closely with functional office leadership and users as a liaison for our technical teams to support problem resolution, software modifications, business process reviews, and integration implementation to/from ancillary systems. The Business Analyst will work with end users to identify and resolve problems and inefficiencies and will create and implement solutions and best practices for business processes. The selected candidate will be a key team contributor to the Dynamic Campus team. The Business Analyst will work directly with end users to identify opportunities, resolve problems, and determine best practice solutions for business processes. The selected candidate will be supported by, and work closely with, our team of highly skilled professionals that are experienced in providing technical solutions to our Higher Education clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or at least five years related experience and/or training
  • Strong communications and organizational skills
  • Strong customer centric skillset
  • Must be able to sit long periods at a time and/or stand long periods at a time

Nice To Haves

  • Hands on experience working in one or more higher education offices, such as admissions, financial aid, HR, advancement, etc.
  • Knowledge of Jenzabar student information system.
  • Experience with Slate CRM
  • Knowledge of Pathify Student Portal.
  • Experience in providing technical (Power User) support in a higher education institution.
  • Project Management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as primary client contact (Trusted Advisor) for all functional offices.
  • Consults with supervisor, team members, and customers to plan software implementation projects. This includes the assessment of business processes, development of project charters and plans.
  • Provide system configuration and usage guidance to end users.
  • Creation of software implementation test plans and assisting users with the execution of test plans as necessary.
  • Consult with functional leadership, and end users, to gather needs and requirements.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers in setting and adhering to timelines and schedules.
  • Develop and maintain detailed written user guides and documentation.
  • Perform analysis of software updates to inform customers in functional business areas concerning business process modifications.
  • Develop, coordinate, and conduct end-user training.
  • Other duties as assigned.
