About The Position

Peraton is seeking a Business Analyst to support the Acquisition Management Branch (AMB) for the Portfolio Resource Management Division (PRMD). This role involves processing hardware/software packages, reviewing requirements, generating reports, and coordinating with various stakeholders within the Defense Health Agency. The Business Analyst will also conduct market research, compare Electronic Bill of Materials (EBOM) to vendor quotes, and provide recommendations to the government. Additionally, the position supports AMB PRMD taskers, IGCEs, and other administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD
  • Ability to obtain and maintain public trust
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Attention to detail, strong communication, professional writing and Excel experience
  • Previous experience with hardware/software inventory, licensing, contract, maintenance, IT tracking and/ or business analysis, IT experience a plus
  • Must have Excel experience, attention to detail and quick learner
  • Strong communication skills, professional writing skills, and intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (i.e., ability to prepare Microsoft (MS) Excel Pivot Tables, ability to identify duplicates in an Excel spreadsheet, ability to use MS Excel Power Query for extract, transform, and load functions, ability to use MS Word, etc.)
  • Ability to multitask and perform administrative tasks in support of AMB PRMD

Responsibilities

  • Process hardware/software packages coming from Lifecycle Management for PRMD
  • Review/validate requirements, RVDC, follow up with customers as necessary.
  • Generate reports, monitor status, update ITSM tickets, monitor calendar events, and provide critical updates to Government leadership when appropriate.
  • Update action statuses via the Procurement Action Tracker, ServiceNow and other databases/tools as necessary.
  • Coordinate with program and project managers from various Directorates within the Defense Health Agency on hardware/software packages as necessary to ensure requirements are valid and following up on maintenance, cost as necessary.
  • Review Electronic Bill of Materials (EBOM) and compares them to quotes received by vendors. Provides recommendations to the government on if the EBOM and the quote are technically acceptable.
  • Conduct market research as necessary to determine cost estimates and/or as requested by the Government
  • Support AMB PRDM taskers,, IGCEs, and other administrative tasks as assigned for AMB PRMD
