About The Position

Our Client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support IT Governance and Demand Management functions. The Business Analyst will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and OIT, helping identify business needs, analyze processes, document requirements, evaluate technology demands, and support prioritization and governance decisions. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and managing multiple initiatives in a complex enterprise environment.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field, or four years of equivalent work experience.
3+ years of relevant technical or business experience.
Experience in business analysis, requirements analysis, process analysis, or related functional evaluation.
Experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and communicating business processes and system requirements.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk-assessment skills.
Ability to identify operational gaps and develop practical improvement opportunities.
Ability to translate user needs and business challenges into actionable technical requirements.
Strong verbal, written, facilitation, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong stakeholder management and consensus-building skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and concurrent initiatives.
Experience creating business documentation, process flows, executive presentations, and analytical deliverables.

Nice To Haves

Experience with IT Governance, Demand Management, Portfolio Management, or enterprise technology procurement.
Experience with ServiceNow or similar IT management/sourcing platforms.
Experience supporting technology investment, prioritization, or governance decisions.
Experience working with PMO, IT Service Management, Enterprise Architecture, Cybersecurity, or Portfolio Management teams.
Experience facilitating meetings and workshops with business leaders and subject matter experts.
Experience analyzing operational/spend data and developing reports or dashboards.

Responsibilities

Analyze current-state business processes and identify opportunities for improvement, automation, and technology enablement.
Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, requirements-gathering sessions, and working meetings.
Develop business requirements, functional requirements, use cases, process maps, workflows, and supporting documentation.
Identify business gaps, risks, constraints, assumptions, dependencies, and improvement opportunities.
Support the intake and evaluation of technology demands across the organization.
Analyze proposed technology demands based on business value, scope, cost, resources, risks, dependencies, and operational impact.
Collaborate with Project Management, IT Service Management, Enterprise Architecture, Cybersecurity, and Portfolio Management teams.
Support governance meetings, prioritization, sequencing, and technology investment decisions.
Serve as a liaison between business leaders, technical teams, end users, and external vendors.
Translate complex technical and business information into clear, actionable requirements and documentation.
Analyze portfolio and demand data to identify trends, risks, gaps, and opportunities.
Develop reports, presentations, process documentation, and analytical deliverables for leadership.
Participate in solution evaluation, requirements validation, testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Support the transition of approved demands into projects, services, or other delivery paths.
Work across multiple concurrent projects and, when needed, lead project sub-teams.
