About The Position

Our client is filling this contract position exclusively through approved staffing partners, so this opportunity is not available by applying directly with the client. If you're interested, we'd be happy to represent you throughout the hiring process. This is a temporary project estimated to last 12 months with possible extensions. The role requires 100% of the time to be spent at the Client's site in Austin, TX. No telecommuting or remote work is allowed, which is a non-negotiable requirement from the client. Only candidates able to relocate as required should apply to avoid removal from future consideration.

Requirements

• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client's site in Austin, TX (required).
• Experience analyzing current legacy systems to identify inefficiencies and translate business needs into actionable, technical solutions (8+ years).
• Experience working with program/project teams to document requirements and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) (8+ years).

• Experience translating abstract ideas into structured business requirements (8+ years).

Responsibilities

• Act as the critical bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams.
• Analyze current legacy systems, identify inefficiencies, and translate business needs into actionable, technical solutions that meet program goals.
• Work with the program to document requirements to be shared with the vendor once selected.
• Meet with stakeholders through interviews, workshops, and surveys to discover business needs.
• Translate abstract ideas into structured Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs).
• Create use cases to visually map current vs. future state (Process Mapping).
• Negotiate requirement trade-offs and manage expectations regarding project timelines and costs (Scope Management)
