  • Interacting with contractors to understand and document interconnections
  • Assisting in managing conflicts and issues to resolution
  • Obtaining needed approval of solution requirements
  • Ensuring that stakeholders have access to business analysis work products
  • Planning, organizing, and conducting business process reengineering/improvement projects
  • Making proposals or forming recommendations, developing, and presenting viable solutions

Responsibilities

  • Defines and documents customer business functions and processes (utilizing Visio) and documents functional and business requirements.
  • Documents require traceability throughout project lifecycle; this includes business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, diagrams, flow charts, etc.; ensures that these deliverables can be used to design a solution to the stated business problem.
  • Manages requirements traceability and oversees the entire requirements management process.
  • Assists project manager with project documentation creation and/or updates to facilitate project compliance with internal governance procedures.
  • Acts as a liaison between departmental end-users, technical analysts, information technology analysts, consultants, and other governmental organizations, in the analysis, design, configuration, testing, and maintenance of case management systems to ensure optimal operational performance.
  • Ensures stakeholders and/or system owners understand system functionalities, logical and physical models, security requirements, and priority relative to the mortgage securitization business.
  • Interacts with contractors to understand and document interconnections, as well as ensure seamless transaction processing.
  • Assists in managing conflicts and issues to resolution.
  • Obtains needed approval of solution requirements.
  • Ensure that stakeholders have access to business analysis work products.
  • Plans, organizes, and conducts business process reengineering/improvement projects to projects requiring strategic analysis of an entire process or operating area where specific issues or items to be corrected, examined, or recommended have not been identified.
  • Independently makes proposals or forms recommendations, develops, and presents viable solutions, and ensures agreement across all stakeholders.
  • Assesses solutions to ensure that strategic goals are met, and requirements are satisfied, including assessment of Request for proposal (RFP) responses, internal designs, test cases, test plans, and manual procedures.
  • Defines acceptance criteria, identifies defects, and defines and validates corrective actions.
  • Assesses organizational readiness for the solution.
