About The Position

Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to join our team as a Business Analyst. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside a diverse and talented team dedicated to supporting mission success and delivering high-quality solutions to our customers. The Business Analyst will provide contractor support to Space Systems Command (SSC), System Delta (SYD) 81, and the Portfolio Acquisition Executive – Infrastructure (PAE-I) Program Office. In this role, the Business Analyst will serve as the Staff Coordinator for the SYD 81 Physical and Range Materiel Leader (ML), providing direct tactical and administrative support for daily operations, organizational priorities, and team management activities. The successful candidate will help coordinate day-to-day activities, facilitate communication and workflow across the organization, track priorities and actions, and support the Materiel Leader in maintaining efficient and effective program operations.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one
  • 10+ years of relevant Department of Defense (DoD) experience supporting program management, staff coordination, operations, or related mission activities
  • Experience using Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2) or similar enterprise task-management systems
  • Working knowledge of program management principles, processes, and practices, with demonstrated experience applying them in an operational environment
  • Experience managing taskers, suspense actions, executive-level coordination, and organizational reporting requirements
  • Ability to coordinate effectively across program, technical, administrative, and senior leadership teams
  • Ability to work effectively with classified and sensitive information in accordance with applicable security requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting a Space Program Office, Major Command (MAJCOM), or Field Command (FLDCOM) environment is highly desired

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Materiel Leader’s (ML) day-to-day schedule, meeting cadence, and coordination with internal team members, supporting analysts, and Senior Materiel Leader (SML) counterparts
  • Track and manage program-level taskers, deliverables, suspense dates, and action items, ensuring timely and accurate submission to the SML Front Office
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings, program reviews, and classified sessions, including conference room scheduling, visitor coordination, and access requirements
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and Visitor Access Request (VAR) submissions for ML-directed events, including events initiated or hosted at the SML level
  • Ensure program activities align with SML policies, administrative standards, reporting requirements, and established organizational processes
  • Coordinate with ML program and technical execution teams to facilitate collaboration with the SML Front Office and Integration Cell
  • Manage task flow, document exchanges, readiness reporting, and other coordination activities across the ML organization
  • Support branch synchronization, task management, and enterprise coordination using Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2)
  • Prepare and provide weekly status reports identifying past-due and upcoming taskers, deliverables, and suspense actions
  • Serve as the primary coordination liaison between the ML organization and SML Staff Coordinators
  • Maintain awareness of organizational priorities and proactively identify actions requiring ML attention or follow-up
