About The Position

Our Client, an Automotive company, is looking for a Business Analyst for their Auburn Hills, MI location. This role involves purchasing parts and services, managing inventory, acting as a customer service representative within the department, managing warranty exchange programs, overseeing calibration equipment, and executing capital projects.

Requirements

Candidates working in procurement field with inventory management experience
Inventory management skills
Well organized
Good computer skills (Microsoft Office)
Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or relevant field
PSAP knowledge
Inventory management experience
Microsoft Office proficiency
Good communication skills

Responsibilities

Purchasing parts and services for groups/supplier calibration support (50-100 requisitions a month)
Experience with vendors, writing requisitions, following up with suppliers, and managing lead times and pricing
Handling repair side tasks: weekly equipment management (shipping, boxing up, receiving, and posting as good receipts)
Occasionally purchasing capital equipment
Inventory management in the repair department (managing hundreds of parts, ensuring bins are filled, placing orders for low stock items)
Acting as a customer service figurehead within the department, guiding others on work order completion and needs
Managing Vector hardware warranty exchange program
Managing department calibration equipment to ensure calibration cycle is maintained through work order creation and vendor brokering
Execution of capital projects
Supplier Calibration Support (CTC and CPG)
New equipment record creation using database
Vendor management and follow-up with suppliers
Training others throughout the building on the purchasing process and PSAP
