About The Position

This position serves as a Business Analyst and primary on-call support person for troubleshooting and resolving system issues related to the web-based Travel system. The role involves identifying and understanding end users’ technical Travel system requirements, providing necessary training and documentation, building and maintaining strong relationships with end users, and offering ongoing support. The Business Analyst will take a broad view of the position, demonstrate initiative in communicating, interacting, and cooperating with engagement teams to ensure all aspects of a task are addressed. Understanding various HR/GA policies and workflows related to various systems is also a key part of the role. The Business Analyst will resolve issues by clarifying users’ needs, determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives, and following up to ensure resolution. Support and communication with HQ regarding the implementation, management, and optimization of new and existing processes within the Travel system will be required to support customer requirements. Analyzing customer requirements and tailoring the use of the system to meet those objectives is essential. The role also includes creating and updating solution documents, such as operation manuals and training materials for Business Analysis. Proactively identifying and formulating process improvements based on support issues to minimize recurring issues is expected. Monitoring and reporting the status of issues, proactively reviewing and interpreting performance against operating standards, and providing information and reporting results are also key responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bilingual Korean required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline with an Information Technology or HR/GA focus.
  • 4+ years of experience in IT support or GA/Accounting operations support.
  • Experience working in matrix organizations.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and customer interface skills, demonstrated through teamwork, understanding of business and customer requirements, and effective communication.
  • Excellent business analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop plans and manage risks; strong organizational skills for managing multiple tasks.
  • Willingness to challenge established practices and draw relevant conclusions, including persistence and willingness to take calculated risks within the organization.
  • Ability to understand customer priorities and work toward accomplishing those priorities as a Business Analyst.
  • Ability to perform in a high-pressure environment and/or crisis situations and make sound decisions to resolve problems.
  • Ability to manage time and attention based on assigned job roles and objectives.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English required.
