About The Position

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Business Analyst with strong experience in accounting processes. The ideal candidate will work closely with business and technical teams to translate financial and operational needs into clear requirements and support the delivery of high-quality solutions. Experience in Agile environments and exposure to Scrum Master responsibilities is considered a strong plus.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in data-centric projects (e.g., Data Warehouse, BI, reporting platforms, analytics solutions)
• Strong understanding of accounting processes (e.g., general ledger, AP/AR, reconciliations, financial reporting)
• Experience working on data flows, data models, and reporting requirements
• Ability to translate complex business needs into structured functional and technical requirements
• Good understanding of data flows and system interactions
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements with a strong focus on accounting and financial processes
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, Accounting, IT, and Product teams to define and refine requirements
• Analyze existing accounting workflows and identify opportunities for optimization and automation
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications for development teams
• Support solution design discussions, ensuring alignment with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Facilitate communication between business and technical teams throughout the delivery lifecycle
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (refinement, planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, demos)
• Optionally act as Scrum Master: facilitate sprint ceremonies and help remove impediments for the team
• Maintain clear documentation of processes, requirements, and system changes
