About The Position

This role will be placed within the Non-Energy Billing governance team; a high performing, fast paced organization redefining the standard for Non-Energy billing. The role is well suited for a curious, motivated self-starter who brings a can-do attitude and is energized by supporting teams, improving how work gets done, and helping a department mature its operational practices. In this role you will work closely with the functional areas to ensure accurate billing and timely collection. Success in this role comes from a blend of curiosity, professionalism, organization and people skills. The ideal candidate enjoys working with others, brings a strong customer-service mindset, is a problem solver, and is comfortable engaging with stakeholders at different levels of the organization. This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and Oakland, CA or Sacramento, CA, approximately once per week or more, depending on business need or company requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
  • Job-related experience, 2 years

Responsibilities

  • Prepares monthly invoices and obtain appropriate approvals
  • Monitor collection and partner with Non-Energy Collection Unit as needed
  • Prepares financial reports
  • SME regarding NEBS (SAP) billing
  • Performs analysis on moderately complex data models selecting from various reports and data options.
  • Performs research internally and externally.
  • Understands business needs, develops new reports and performs custom/ad-hoc reporting working independently. Presents findings to various audiences.
