Business Analyst
About The Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Business Data Analyst to join our team at Pursuit Aerospace. The Business Data Analyst supports the enterprise Transformation Office through the evaluation of data for trends and opportunities, with the ability to distill significant amounts of data into translatable visualizations & reports. Opportunities to support special projects, administration of centralized tools & project management of initiatives will be available based on skill, experience and demonstrated competency. The ideal candidate will have proven capability to leverage data in the manufacturing industry to support and/or drive strategic initiatives with proven results across multiple business functions. This candidate should view the organization as their customer and strive to support their needs to enable the successful deployment and implementation of organizational projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Engineering, Finance, Operations Management, etc.
- At least 3 years of experience in site level analysis and/or management of financial data within the manufacturing industry (forecasts, actuals, budgets, etc.)
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis.
- Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.
Nice To Haves
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and Powerpoint
- Experience and competency with data integration and analytics tools (i.e. Qlik, PowerBi, etc.), inclusive of the creation of dashboards and visualizations
Responsibilities
- Support existing initiatives through the financial analysis of forecasts vs. targets
- Assess business data to identify trends and opportunities, enabling workstream leads to launch new data-based initiatives to drive organizational improvement
- Support the administration, development and deployment of organizational dashboards; providing clear and relatable visualizations to project teams
- Collaborate with project team members to provide training, brainstorm concepts and develop improved data sources
