About The Position

We are looking for a talented individual to join as a Technical Business Analyst within the Funding, Treasury and Liquidity (FTL) Program. The specific role will report to the regional team lead in Montreal and form part of a development pod also consisting of 3 developers. The role will focus primarily on Pre-Trade activities within the Central Funding Group primarily working on the ATOM application. ATOM is a greenfield global front office analytics, risk and trade order management platform used globally by the Central Funding business.

Requirements

• Ability to translate requirements from non-technical users to developers.
• Ability to explain technical issues and constraints to non-technical users.
• Excellent proficiency in Excel.
• Ability to query Oracle or SQL Server databases to a functional level.
• Familiarity with Capital Markets environments.
• Comfortable using AI tools to support requirements gathering, prototyping, and test case development.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in interacting with and gathering requirements for Front Office users.
• Understanding of the Repo and Sec Lending markets (Front Office, Settlements and Collateral Management).
• Knowledge of Risk calculation methods.

Responsibilities

• Delivering enhancements on the ATOM platform.
• Provide day-to-day support to traders using this application.
• Participate in the SDLC from the beginning, including requirements gathering workshops and ad-hoc sessions.
• Sign off on test results before deployment.
• Communicate and interact frequently with RBC partners and/or employees located across Canada and/or worldwide.
