About The Position

Information Technology Strategies, INC. (IT-Strat) is a government IT solutions provider that services commercial and government initiatives across the United States. This position is for a Business Analyst to work directly for IT-Strat. The role primarily supports the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) and requires a current U.S. Government SECRET Clearance or above, with no sponsorship provided. The Business Analyst will be responsible for assisting with system technical tasks, requirements gathering, management, and documentation for both project and sustainment work. Additionally, the role involves business process management specifically related to COTS/GOTS Human Resources IT systems. IT-Strat, established in 2002, is a certified Woman Owned Small Business and a former SBA 8(A) company, holding various contract vehicles and supporting clients such as the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), and DLA.

Requirements

  • A CURRENT U.S. Government SECRET Clearance or above
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, including experience with Human Resources IT systems
  • Capable of performing and documenting system configuration and management
  • Capable of completing scope-defined technical tasks
  • Capable of interpreting software test results and assisting with remediation
  • Experience in requirements tracking, documentation, and creating process/feature documentation
  • Knowledgeable in life-cycle support, including maintenance, administration, and management
  • Ability to assist with troubleshooting identified problems and escalate them as needed
  • Understanding of SQL and ETL
  • Prior experience integrating new technologies/systems and their data
  • Prior experience performing requirements analysis for a wide range of users

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors or Skillsoft learning platform
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise COTS/GOTS Learning Management software/HR suites

Responsibilities

  • Assist with system technical tasks
