Business Analyst
About The Position
The Business Analyst will support the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) on the AI Apprenticeship Program. This role reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems, user needs, and existing processes to identify opportunities to improve operations through technology. The Business Analyst will perform business process mapping and reengineering, prepare solution options, and identify risks. The role also supports financial analyses such as cost/benefit, return on investment (ROI), and buy/build evaluations. The Business Analyst will translate business needs into detailed requirements and documentation that guide the development or modification of computer applications.
Requirements
- 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area as a Senior Business Analyst (Technical).
- 7 years of familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures applicable to business and systems analysis.
- 2 years of experience as a data analyst analyzing raw data using Excel, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Candidates must reside in the Austin area.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
