DuckCreek Business Analyst

About The Position
This role focuses on leveraging DuckCreek systems to meet business needs within the insurance industry. The Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering requirements, configuring DuckCreek modules, designing solutions, ensuring quality through testing, and facilitating communication between technical teams and business stakeholders. The position also involves optimizing existing implementations and providing ongoing support.
Requirements
- Proficiency in DuckCreek Author, Policy Admin System (PAS), or other DuckCreek tools.
- Knowledge of XML, JSON, and other configuration formats.
- Experience with rating engines and integration points.
- Strong understanding of insurance workflows (policy, billing, claims).
- Expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements.
- Document functional and non-functional requirements related to DuckCreek systems.
- Configure DuckCreek modules, including policy, billing, and claims, to meet business needs.
- Support the implementation of DuckCreek templates and tools.
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications.
- Assist in creating user stories and use cases for development.
- Work closely with QA teams to validate the configuration and customizations.
- Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and troubleshoot issues.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Present updates, solution designs, and post-implementation feedback.
- Identify areas for process improvement within DuckCreek modules.
- Provide ongoing support and enhancements for existing implementations.
