About The Position

Soft Tech Consulting is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed individual to fill the role of a Business Analyst/Tester with one of our government clients. The designated candidate for this position will join a collaborative team environment, providing support and expertise necessary toward the successful delivery of the project deliverables, and provide effective communication to all levels of staff for reporting status/progress.

Requirements

• MUST BE A UNITED STATES CITIZEN
• TOP SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED
• Onsite 5 days a week.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 5 years of work experience (including internships).
• Experience with Agile framework and working on a Kanban or Scrum team.
• Experience with creating and monitoring tasks in JIRA.
• Application/software testing experience.
• Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) (Beginner)
• Experience with Manual Testing (Beginner)
• Experience with Agile Project Management (Beginner)
• Experience with Business Requirements Analysis (Beginner)
• Experience with Jira Ticketing (Beginner)
• Clear written communication and documentation skills.
• Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbal and written.
• Must be able to work independently, with minimal oversight.
• Able to develop strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Identify functional requirements and create user stories
• Test developed stories and ensure application QA
• Prepare and participate in internal design sessions
• Solve problems and provide technical support to application end users
• Develop and maintain documentation and training materials
• Assist Scrum Master and other team members when needed
