Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in financial management, accounting, or information systems (or 7 years’ experience).
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Direct experience with data collection and analysis.
• Experience testing and mapping business processes.
• Ability to interpret technical discussions, analyze and solve problems, while creating and maintaining documentation.
• Excellent communication, organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to effectively prioritize, work accurately, and meet deadlines independently and as part of a team.
• Candidates must be U.S. Citizens and can obtain a favorable National Agency Check Investigation (NACI) clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Air Force Financial Management and Accounting systems such as: Automated Funds Management (AFM), Financial Management Suite (FMSuite), Job Order Cost Accounting System (JOCAS), Defense Enterprise Accounting and Management System (DEAMS)
• DoD Financial Management (FM) certification Level 1 or 2.
• Experience gathering and tracking system requirements through requirements lifecycle and the ability to perform acceptance testing.
• Business Analysis training or certifications such as: Program Management, Organizational Change Management (OCM) certification, or Certification of Capability in Business Analysis.

Responsibilities

• Translate conceptual and operational requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner for developers/project team.
• Perform functional acceptance software testing.
• Develop and conduct requirement reviews.
• Investigate and perform root-cause analysis to resolve system issues.
• Create end-user functional system documentation and provide end-user training.
• Guide projects, improve processes, and ensure system compliance with applicable DoD and Air Force regulations.
• Providing customer service to Airmen and Guardians across the globe.
